This graduate program, International Graduate Program of Innovation for Intelligent World (IIW), solicits students who aspire to contribute to building a green, sustainable, and intelligent society by either
- Advancing information science and related technology,
- Creating a new academic/application field by integrating informatics with other academic fields, or
- Creating a new social value through the application of informatics.
The successful applicants will join the activities of this IIW program with the current members of the program, but the requirements for completing the program will differ from those for the current members and be newly specified according to the SPRING GX project.

Q1: Are there any conditions after acceptance?
A1: Please fulfill the following conditions.
■We have a policy about your part-time job:
1) Your part-time jobs should be related to your research and education.
2) In the job related to 1), only cases where the total income from the University of Tokyo is 280,000 Yen (or less) per month in addition to the SPRING GX financial support is acceptable.
3) In the job related to 1), there is no problem if you might get the income from outside of the University of Tokyo.
Only cases where the total income must not exceed 2.4 million per year.
■The following items are mandatory.

1) Participation in Newcomer Orientation
2) Participation in Monthly Meeting (about 2 hours once a month)
3) Presentation/participation in research poster session
